Chapter: 39 Verse: 56

"Lest a soul should say: O woe to me! for what I fell short of my duty to the Side of Allah, and most surely I was of those who mocked."

Narrated to us Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al-Barqy, from Al-Nazar Bin Suweyd, from Yahya Bin Al-Halby, from Abdullah Bin Muskaan Maalik Al-Jahny who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah (as) say:

"I am the Tree from the side (Janb) of Allah (swt). The one who reaches/attains Us has reached/attained Allah (swt).
He then recited this Verse Lest a soul should say: O woe to me! for what I fell short of my duty to the Side of Allah, and most surely I was of those who mocked [39:56].

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn Isma‘il ibn Bazi‘a from his uncle Hamza ibn Bazi‘a from Ali ibn Suwayd from abu al-Hassan Musa ibn Ja‘far (as)  who has said the following About the words of Allah.

"Woe to me because of my failure to fulfill my duties from the side of Allah . . ." [39:56]

The Imam (as) said that the side of Allah is Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (as)  and so are the successors of the high position until the matters will reach to the last one among them."
