Narrated that Prophet Mohammed (ص) said, that Allah (جل جلاله) has said:

"Had all the men gathered upon the Wilayat of Ali (ع), I would not have created fire (Hell)."

Hadith 2:

Narrated that Abu Abdillah Imam Sadiq (ع) said,

"The dead person will be asked about 5 things in his grave. About his prayers, his zakat, his Hajj, his fasts، and his Wilayat of us the Ahlulbait (ع). Then the Wilayat will say from the side of the grave to the other 4, "Whatever shortcomings are there in you all, upon me (wilayat) is its completion (i.e. I will complete them.)".

Hadith 3:

Narrated that Ali bin al-Husain (ع) said, "Allah has made five duties mandatory and everything that Allah makes mandatory is beautiful; Salaat, Zakaat, Hajj, Fasting and the Wilayat of AhlulBait (ع). People obeyed/acted on the first four and ignored the fifth one (Wilayat). I swear to Allah that the first four are not complete without the fifth one (Wilayat)."

Hadith 4:

Narrated that Amir al-Momineen (ع) said, "When those who believe in our Wilayah come over the Siraat, a caller will call, "O Fire, Cool-down". Then the Fire will say, "Cross over fast, Your Noor (light) is extinguishing my flames."

[Qurb al-Asnaad, Pg. 102]

Hadith 5:

Narrated that Abu Abdullah Imam Sadiq (as) said; " Aban! When you proceed to Al-Kufa, so report this Hadeeth, "The one who testifies sincerely that 'there is no god except for Allah", then Paradise would be Obligatory upon him."

He (Aban) said, "I said to Him, "There come to me every type (of people) so should I report to all of them this Hadeeth?"

Imam (ع) said: "Yes, O Aban! When it will be the Day of Judgement, and Allah (عز وجل) Gathers together the former ones and the later ones, He will take away from them, 'There is no god except for Allah', except from the ones who are upon this matter (Wilayah of AhlulBait ع)."

Hadith 6:

Narrated that Abu Abdullah Imam Sadiq (ع) said:

"For our sake, You have taken your father's, and your sons, and your wives as enemies. And your reward is upon Allah (عز و جل). And what you are upon (i.e. Wilayat) would be most needed when your souls reach here – and the Imam (ع) gestured by His hand to His throat (i.e. during death)".

Hadith 7:

Narrated that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله) has said,

"The Mastership (wilayat) of Amir al-Momineen (عليه السلام) is the Wilayat of Allah.

Loving Him is the worship of Allah.

Obeying Him is obligated by Allah.

His friends are the friends of Allah.

His enemies are the enemies of Allah.

His war is Allah’s war, and his peace is Allah’s peace."

Hadith 8:

Part of a long hadith as narrated from Abu Abd-Allah Imam Sadiq (عليه السلام) regarding the death of a believer (momin):

"So the Angel of death would come near him (the believer) and will say to him, “O servant of Allah! Have you taken your release of your neck (from the Fire)? Have you taken your (deed of) protection of your release (from the Fire)? Did you hold onto the Greatest protection/defense (al-Ismat al-Kubra) in the life of this world?"

So, Allah (عز وجل) would Help him (raise him), and he will say, ‘Yes’.

So, the Angel of death will say, "And what is that?"

So, he (the believer) will say, "The Wilayah of Ali ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام)."

Hadith 9:

Narrated through a chain of trustworthy narrators from Fudayl bin Yasar who said,

“I entered upon Abu Abd-Allah Imam Sadiq (عليه السلام) during an illness He was suffering from, and there was nothing left of him except his head (i.e. the complete body was weak due to the illness).

The Imam said, "O Fudayl, I very often say, 'There is no harm/loneliness for a man whom Allah as made aware of this matter (i.e., Wilayat), even if he were on the top of a mountain (being alone?) until death comes to him?'

O Fudayl bin Yasar, the people have taken to the right and the left (i.e. away from Wilayat), and We and Our followers (Shia) have been guided to the straight path.

O Fudayl bin Yasar! Indeed, if a believer were to possess all that is between the East and the West, it would be better for him, and if he were to cut into pieces that also would be better for him.

O Fudayl ibn Yasar, Allah does not do anything to a believer except what is best for him.

O Fudayl bin Yasar, if the worth of the world was equal to the wing of a mosquito in the sight of Allah (عز وجل), He would not give a drop of water from it to His enemy.

O Fudayl bin Yasar, whoever has one concern/goal (i.e., to be guided to the right path), Allah will suffice him for his concern, and whoever has his concern in every valley (of misguidance), Allah does not care in which valley he ends up being destroyed.”

Hadith 10:

Narrated that Imam Sadiq (عليه السلام) said,

"My believing in the Mastership (Wilayat) of Ali ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام) is dearer to Me than from being from His progeny. Because His Mastership (Wilayat) is obligatory while being from His progeny is merit."
