Sayed ibn Tawoos in his book "Muhaj al-da’awat Wa Manhaj al-ibadat" narrates with this chain from the book "Fadl al-Dua" of Sa’d ibn Abd-Allah that:

"Muhammad bn Iismaeil bin Bazie and Sulayman bin Jafar said, we entered upon Imam al-Ridha (عليه السلام) while the Imam was in prostration of thanks (Sajdah al-Shukr), He prostrated for long and then raised His head. Then we said to him, "You prostrated for very long?"

Imam (عليه السلام) said, "Whoever says this supplication (dua) in the prostration of thanks (Sajdah al-Shukr) will be like the one who throw arrows in the battle of Badr along with the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله)."

Both the narrators said, "So we will write it down."

Imam (عليه السلام) said, "Write it, when you are in the prostration of giving thanks, then say:

"O Allah! Curse those two (i.e., Abu Bakr and Umar) who changed Your religion, and changed Your bounties/blessings, and accused Your Messenger (صلى الله عليه وآله), and opposed Your nation and blocked Your path and rejected Your blessings, and rejected Your words, and mocked Your Messenger (صلى الله عليه وٱله), and killed the son of Your Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله) [referring to Muhsin ibn Ali ع]… "

(only partial dua quoted here)

Hadith 2:

Narrated that Abu Jafar Imam Baqir (as),

"Surely Behind this (sun) there are forty suns, from one sun to another sun is a time of forty years. Over there are many creations who don't know whether Allah created Adam or not. And behind this moon of yours there are forty moons between each moon is the time of fourty years and over there are many creations who don't know whether Allah created Adam or not.

These creations have been inspired (ilham) just like how the bees have been inspired to curse the first (Abu Bakr) and second (Umar) all the time. And angels have been assigned to them and when they do not curse those two, they are punished."

Hadith 3:

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hanaan Bin Sudeyr, and Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Hanaan Bin Sudeyr, from his father who said:

I asked Abu Ja’far (as) about the two (Abu Bakr and Umar), so He said:

O Abu Al- Fazl, don’t ask me about these two, for by Allah, no one from among us passes away at all except being angry against these two, and there is none from us today except that he is angry at them. The old ones bequeath (informs) it to the young ones from us. These two have been unjust to us for our rights, and prevented us from our Fey (Spoils of War – Khums), and first one rode upon our necks, and caused damage to us with a damage in Al-Islam which can never be repaired ever until our Qaim makes a stand and speaks our speech’.

Then he said; ‘But, by Allah, when our Qaim makes a stand, or speaks our speech, he will expose the matters of these two of what they had concealed, and conceal from their matters what they used to make apparent.

By Allah, nothing has afflicted us from the afflictions, and what has passed of the difficulties against us, the People of the Household, except that these two laid the foundations of it at first place, so against these TWO are the Curses of Allah, and the Angels, and the people altogether.

Hadith 4:

Narrated from Abu Hamza Al-Thumaly, who has said,

I said to Ali Bin Al-Husayn (عليه السلام), "May I be sacrificed for you, I would like to ask you about three characteristics, negate me if in dissimulation".

Imam (عليه السلام) said: "That is for you".

I said, "I would like to ask you about fulan and fulan (i.e. Abu Bakr and Umar)".

Imam (عليه السلام) said, "May the Curse of Allah (عز وجل) be upon them with all of His Curses. By Allah (swt), those two died, when they were both disbelievers (kafir), and associating patners (Mushrik) with Allah (العظيم)".

Then I said, "The Imams can revive the dead, and heal the blind and the leprours, and walk on the water?"

Imam (عليه السلام) said. "Allah (عز وجل) did not Give the Prophets (عليهم السلام) anything, but, He Gave it to Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله), and also gave Him what was not with the other Prophets.

Then I said, "And everying that was with the Prophet of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله), He gave it to Amir al-Momineen (عليه السلام)?"

Imam (عليه السلام) said, "Yes, and then to al-Hasan and al-Husain (عليهم السلام) and then to to all the Imams after Him upto the day of Judgement along with the addition of whatever happens in every year and every month and then the Imam said, "By Allah, even what happens every hour."

Hadith 5:

Sulaym ibn Qays Narrates:

Then Ali (as) talked about Ayshah and her leaving the house and what she did to Ali (as). So Ammaar said: 'O Ameerul Momineen you leave talking about her because she is your mother.' He [Ali (as)] stopped talking about her and started another matter. Then he [Ali (as)] returned towards mentioning her and said stronger things than before. Ammaar said again: 'O Ameerul Momineen you leave talking about her. She is your mother.' Then he [Ali (as)] turned away from talking about her, but returned to it third time and said even stronger matter than the second time. Then Ammaar said: 'O Ameerul Momineen keep away from her because she is your mother.' So he (as) said:

"Never! I am with Allah. I do not care about those who oppose Allah. Surely Allah has tested you through your mother (Ayesha), so it becomes known whether you are with him or with her."
