Who is a Nasibi?

Hadith 1:

Narrated Mohammad bin al-Hasan, from Mohammad bin Yahya al-Attar, from Mohammad bin Ahmad, from Ibrahim bin Ishaq, from Abdullah bin Hammad, from Abdullah bin Sinan from Abi Abdillah Imam Sadiq (as):

Imam Sadiq (as) said, "Nasibi is not the one who has enmity/hatred with Us the AhlulBait (as), because you will not find any person saying, 'I am enemy of Mohammad and Aale Mohammad (as)'! But Nasibi is the one who has enmity/hatred with You, because he knows that you love Us and you are from Our Shia's."

Hadith 2:

Mohammad bin Idrees at the end of his book 'al-Sarair' quotes from the book  'Masail al-Rijaal', from Aba al-Hasan Ali bin Mohammad (as);

"Ali bin Isa wrote to Imam Ali bin Mohammd (as) [9th Imam] asking Him about the Nasibi*, Is it needed to evaluate him upon more than Him bringing forward Jibt and Taghoot (Abu Bakr and Umar) (putting them ahead of the Imam's) and believing in their Imamat ? The reply came, "The one who is upon that then he is a Nasibi"

Hadith 3:

Part of long narration in which the Prophet (صلى عليه وآله) advised ibn Abbas:

I (ibn Abbas) said, "O Prophet of Allah (ص), will anyone hate Imam Ali (عليه السلام)?"

The Prophet (ص) said, "Yes, a group who think they are from My community will hate Him. Allah (swt) has not made any share for them in Islam."

"O ibn Abbas, from the signs of hating Imam Ali (عليه السلام) is to give preference to others over Him.

Hadith 4:

In a lengthy narration Imam Sadiq (as) says,

Amirul Momineen (as) will be standing by Hauz Kauthar with a thorny stick, with which he will beat our enemies in such a way that one of them will say, "I bear witness of the 2 testimonies (i.e. That there is no god but Allah and Muhammad (saww) is Allah’s Messenger)."

Imam (as) will reply, "Go to your so and so leader (Imam) and ask him to intercede for you."

The man will say, "My leader, whom you mentioned, dissociates himself from me."

Amirul Momineen (as) will reply, "Go back and ask the one whom you used to love, follow and whom you preferred above the rest of creation to intercede for you, since he was the best of creation in your eyes, for indeed only the best of creation can intercede."

The man will say, "I am dying of thirst!" Amirul Momineen (as) will reply, "May Allah aggravate your thirst and need for water!"

I (the narrator) asked Imam Sadiq (as), "May I be sacrificed on you, how can he even come near the Pool when others cannot?"

Imam Sadiq (as) replied, "He stayed away from evil acts and abstained from insulting us when we were mentioned in his presence and he avoided some other sinful acts that others dared to commit. But this was not based on following Us or loving Us. On the contrary, it was based on his intense efforts in worship and religious acts and on being preoccupied with himself rather than talking about others. But his heart was filled with hypocrisy and his religion was based upon hating us, following those who had hatred towards Us, believing in the authority of those two persons of the past and giving preference to them over everyone else."

Hadith 5:

Narrated that Abu Abd-Allah Imam Sadiq (عليه السلام) said,

“Whoever sets up an example and whoever purchases a dog, has surely left Islam.”

Someone said to the Imam, “Then most of the people are destroyed.”

Imam (عليه السلام), “It is not as you are thinking. But what I meant by ‘Whoever sets up an example’ – is the one who establishes a religion other than the religion of Allah and calls the people towards it.

And by My words ‘whoever purchases a dog’ – (dog means) the one who hates Us the AhlulBayt (عليه السلام), so the one who feeds him and gives him water has surely left Islam.”
