088: Al-Ghaashiya

Chapter: 88, Verse: 3/4 - The Naasib - Those who hold enmity with the AhlulBait (as)

"The laboring Naasibi, entering the blazing fire." [88:3-4]

A number of our companions narrated to us, from Sahl bin Zyad, from Ibn Fazal, from Hannan from Abi Abdillah (as):

Abi Abdillah (as) said, "It does not matter for the Naasibi* whether he prays or commits adultery (it is the same). And this verse was revealed regarding them, " "The laboring Naasibi, entering the blazing fire." [88:3-4]

* Naasibi - One who holds enmity with the AhlulBait (as) and their followers.

Ali bin Ibraheem, from his father, from Ibn Abi Umayr, from Umro bin Abi Al-Maqdaam who said: I heard Aba Abdillah (as) saying:

(Only relevant part of the narration quoted here)

"Every hostile one (Nasibi), if he were to worship, and struggle, would be attributed to this Verse: Toiling, Hostile one. Entering into burning fire" [88:3-4]. So every Hostile One (Nasibi) who struggles, his deeds would be wasted."

Chapter: 88, Verse: 25-26 - Who will do the accounting of the Shias on Qayamah?

Ibraheem Al-Ahmiri, from Abdul Rahman bin Ahmad Al-Tameemi, from Abdullah bin Sinan, from Abi Abdillah (as):

Abu Abdullah (as) said, "On the day of judgment, we will be commissioned/authorized with the accounting of our Shias, so for the things which were to do with Allah (sins against Allah), We will ask Him to grant it to us, then it will be theirs, and whatever is Ours will be theirs". Then Abu Abdullah (as) recited, "Surely to us is their turning back, Then surely upon Us is the taking of their account." (88:25-26)

There are a few more narrations with the same meaning

Similar meaning has also come in Ziyarat-e-Jamiya (which is considered authentic by Sheikh Sadooq and many other scholars)

"And the return of the creations is towards you and their accounting is upon you."
