Hadith 1 - Reminding Ghadir on Ashura:
Narrated as part of a long hadith from Imam Sadiq (عليه السلام), from his father Imam Baqir (عليه السلام), from his father Imam Ali ibn Husain (عليه السلام):
That Imam Husain (عليه السلام) called out the enemies and said the folllowing:
"I ask you by Allah, Do you know that Ali (عليه السلام) was the first of the Muslims to accept Islam, the most knowledgeable amongst them, the greatest of them in forbearance [Hilm] and the master [wali] of every believing man and women"
They replied, “Yes, by Allah”
The Imam said, "Then by what right do you make my blood lawful [to be shed], when my father is the guardian at the Pool (al-Hawd) in the hereafter, driving men away from it just as a thirsty camel is driven away from water?"
