Hadith 1:

فَأَنَا الذِّكْرُ الَّذِي عَنْهُ ضَلَّ وَ السَّبِيلُ الَّذِي عَنْهُ مَالَ وَ الْإِيمَانُ الَّذِي بِهِ كَفَرَ وَ الْقُرْآنُ الَّذِي إِيَّاهُ هَجَرَ وَ الدِّينُ الَّذِي بِهِ كَذَّبَ وَ الصِّرَاطُ الَّذِي عَنْهُ نَكَبَ

From the sermon of Imam Ali (عليه السلام) which the Imam gave 7 days after the passing away of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله):

"I am the reminder (zekr) that they have strayed from,

the path (sabeel) that they have deviated from,

the faith (iman) that they have disbelieved in,

the Quran that they have abandoned,

the religion that they have denied,

and the straight path (sirat) that they have turned away from."

Hadith 2:

حدثنا حمزة بن محمد بن أحمد بن جعفر بن محمد بن زيد بن علي بن الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام بقم في رجب سنة تسع وثلثين وثلاثمأة قال حدثني أبي عن ياسر الخادم عن أبي الحسن علي بن موسى الرضا عن أبيه عن آبائه عن الحسين بن علي عليهم السلام قال قال رسول الله " ص " لعلي عليه السلام يا علي أنت حجة الله وأنت باب الله وأنت الطريق إلى الله وأنت النبأ العظيم وأنت الصراط المستقيم وأنت المثل الاعلى يا علي أنت امام المسلمين وأمير المؤمنين وخير الوصيين وسيد الصديقين يا علي أنت الفاروق الأعظم وأنت الصديق الأكبر يا علي أنت خليفتي على أمتي وأنت قاضي ديني وأنت منجز عداتي يا علي أنت المظلوم بعدي يا علي أنت المفارق بعدي يا علي أنت المحجور بعدي اشهد الله تعالى ومن حضر من أمتي أن حزبك حزبي وحزبي حزب الله وان حزب أعدائك حزب الشيطان

Narrated from Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Musa al-Rida (عليه السلام), from His Father, from His Forefathers, from al-Husayn ibn Ali (عليهم السلام) that the Prophet of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله) said to Imam Ali (عليه السلام):

"O Ali! You are the Proof of Allah (Hujjatullah).

You are the Door of Allah (Baabullah).

You are the Road to Allah.

You are the Great news (Naba al-Azeem).

You are the Straight Path (Sirat al-Mustaqeem).

You are the Supreme Example (Masal al-aAla).

O Ali! You are the Leader (Imam) of the Muslims.

You are the Commander of the Faithful (Amir al-Momineen).

You are the Best of the Trustees. 

You are the Master of the truthful ones.

You are the greatest one who distinguishes truth from falsehood. (Farooq al-Azam)

You are the Greatest Truthful (Siddiq al-Akbar).

O Ali! You are my Caliph ruling over my nation.

You are the one to pay back my debts.

You are the one to fulfill my promises.

O Ali! You are the oppressed one after me.

O Ali! You are the one to be abandoned after me.

O Ali! You are the one who will be forsaken after me. 

I make Allah (تعالى) as witness and all who are present as witnesses that Your party is My party, and My party is the Party of Allah (Hizb-ul-Allah). And, the party of Your enemies is the party of Satan."

Hadith 3:

حدثنا الحسن بن محمد بن سعيد الهاشمي الكوفي، قال: حدثنا فرات بن إبراهيم بن فرات الكوفي، قال: حدثنا محمد بن ظهير، قال: حدنثا أبو الحسن محمد بن الحسين بن أخي يونس البغدادي ببغداد، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يعقوب النهشلي، قال: حدثنا علي بن موسى الرضا، عن أبيه موسى بن جعفر، عن أبيه جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه محمد بن علي، عن أبيه علي بن الحسين، عن أبيه الحسين بن علي، عن أبيه علي بن أبي طالب (عليهم السلام)، عن النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله)، عن جبرئيل، عن ميكائيل، عن إسرافيل، عن الله جل جلاله: أنه قال: أنا الله لا إله إلا أنا، خلقت الخلق بقدرتي، فاخترت منهم من شئت من أنبيائي، وأخترت من جميعهم محمدا حبيبا وخليلا وصفيا، فبعثته رسولا إلى خلقي، واصطفيت له عليا، فجعلته له أخا ووصيا ووزيرا ومؤديا عنه من بعده إلى خلقي، وخليفتي على عبادي، ليبين لهم كتابي، ويسير فيهم بحكمي، وجعلته العلم الهادي من الضلالة، وبابي الذي أوتى منه، وبيتي الذي من دخله كان آمنا من ناري، وحصني الذي من لجأ إليه حصنه من مكروه الدنيا والآخرة، ووجهي الذي من توجه إليه لم أصرف وجهي عنه، وحجتي في السماوات والارضين على جميع من فيهن من خلقي، لا أقبل عمل عامل منهم إلا بالاقرار بولايته مع نبوة أحمد رسولي، وهو يدي المبسوطة على عبادي، وهو النعمة التي أنعمت بها على من أحببته من عبادي، فمن أحببته من عبادي وتوليته عرفته ولايته ومعرفته، ومن أبغضته من عبادي أبغضته لانصرافه عن معرفته وولايته، فبعزتي حلفت، وبجلالي أقسمت إنه لا يتولى عليا عبد من عبادي إلا زحزحته عن النار وأدخلته الجنة، ولا يبغضه عبد من عبادي ويعدل عن ولايته إلا أبغضته وأدخلته النار وبئس المصير

Narrated from Ali ibn Musa al-Rida (عليه السلام), from his father Musa bin Jafar (عليه السلام), from his father Jafar bin Muhammad (عليه السلام), from his father Muhammad bin Ali (عليه السلام), from his father Ali bin al-Husayn (عليه السلام), from his father al-Husayn bin Ali (عليه السلام), from his father Ali ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام), from the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله), from Gabriel from Michael from Israfil from Allah (عز وجل), that Allah (عز وجل) said,

"I am Allah – there is no god but Me. I created the creation with My power. I selected whomever I wished to be My Prophets from among them. I selected Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله) from all of them to be My Beloved (Habeeb), My Friend (Khaleel), and My elite one, and I sent Him as a Messenger to My creation."

"I chose Ali (عليه السلام) for Him, and I made Him - His Brother, His Deputy/trustee (Wasi), His Vizier (wazeer), and the executor of His tasks after Him - for My creation."

"He (i.e. Ali عليه السلام) is My deputy (Khalifah) over My servants, who clarifies My Book to them and implements My judgment among them."

I have made Him (i.e. Ali عليه السلام) -

The sign that guides from misguidance, 

My door from which to come,

My house – whoever enters it is safe from My Fire, 

My fortress – whoever seeks refuge in it is protected from the hateful things of this world and the Hereafter, 

My Face – whoever faces it, I will not turn My Face away from, 

And My Proof (Hujjah) in the heavens and the Earths over all that is in them of my creatures. 

"I will not accept the deeds of any of them unless they accept His Mastership (Wilayah) alongwith the Prophethood of Ahmad, My Messenger (صلى الله عليه وآله)."

"He (i.e. Ali عليه السلام) is My open hand over My servants. 

He is the blessing by which I bless those who I love from among My servants.

Whoever I love from among My servants, I make him aware of His Mastership (wilayah) and His recognition (Marifat).

Whoever I hate from My servants. I make him turn away from recognize Him and His Mastership (wilayah).

I swear by My glory and I vow by My majesty: surely, no servant from My servants will aceept the Wilayah of Ali (عليه السلام) except that I will move him away from the Fire and enter him into Paradise; and no servant from My servants will hate Him and reject his Mastership (wilayah) except that I will hate him and enter him into the Fire and its such a miserable end result."

Hadith 4:

حدثنا أحمد بن محمد الصائغ العدل، قال: حدثنا عيسى بن محمد العلوي، قال: حدثنا أبو عوانة، قال: حدثنا محمد بن سليمان بن بزيع الخزاز، قال حدثنا إسماعيل بن أبان، عن سلام بن أبي عمرة الخراساني، عن معروف بن خربوذ المكي، عن أبي الطفيل عامر بن واثلة، عن حذيفة بن أسيد الغفاري، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): يا حذيفة، إن حجة الله عليكم بعدي علي بن أبي طالب، الكفر به كفر بالله، والشرك به شرك بالله، والشك فيه شك في الله، والالحاد فيه إلحاد في الله، والانكار له إنكار لله، والايمان به إيمان بالله، لأنه أخو رسول الله، ووصيه، وإمام أمته ومولاهم، وهو حبل الله المتين، وعروته الوثقى التي لا انفصام لها، وسيهلك فيه اثنان ولا ذنب له: محب غال، ومقصر، يا حذيفة: لا تفارقن عليا فتفارقني، ولا تخالفن عليا فتخالفني، إن عليا مني وأنا منه، من أسخطه فقد أسخطني، ومن أرضاه فقد أرضاني

Narrated that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله) said:

"O Hudhayfa! Surely, the Proof (Hujjah) of Allah over you after Me is Ali ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام). 

Disbelieving (kufr) in Him is disbelieving in Allah, 

associating partners (shirk) with Him is associating partners with Allah,

doubting Him is doubting Allah,

disbelief in Him is disbelief in Allah,

denying Him is denying Allah,

for He is the brother of the Messenger of Allah, his trustee (wasi), and the leader (Imam) of his Nation and their Master (Maula).

He is the firm Rope of Allah and the Firm Handle with no crack in it (i.e doest not break).

Regarding Him, two types of people will be destroyed, with no fault of His - a lover exceeding the bounds (ghali) and one who reduces (muqassir - i.e. the one who reduces status of the Imam). 

O Hudhayfa! Do not separate from Ali (عليه السلام), for you will have separated from Me; and do not oppose Ali (عليه السلام), for you will have opposed Me. Surely, Ali (عليه السلام) is from Me and I am from Him. Whoever angers Him has angered Me, and whoever pleases Him has pleased Me.

Hadith 5:

Narrated from Abu Abd-Allah Imam Sadiq (عليه السلام), that Amir al-Momineen (عليه السلام) said in one his sermons:

"And I am the refuge of every weak and the secure place of every fearful."

وأنا ملجأ كل ضعيف، ومأمن كل خائف

"And I am the leader of the believers into Paradise."

وأنا قائد المؤمنين إلى الجنة

"And I am the Hand of Allah that is extended towards His servants with mercy and forgiveness."

وأنا يد الله المبسوطة على عباده بالرحمة والمغفرة
