Acceptance of deeds
Hadith 1:
A man came over to Abu Jafar Imam Baqir (عليه السلام) and with him was a sheet of paper. So Imam (عليه السلام) said to him, "This here is a paper of an opponent asking about the Religion upon which the deeds are accepted."
So the man said, "May Allah have Mercy on You, this is what I intended."
So Imam Baqir (عليه السلام) said, "The testimony that there is no god except for Allah Alone, there being no partners for Him, and that Mohammad (صلى الله عليه وآله) is His servant and His Prophet, and you acknowledge with whatever He came with from Allah, and Wilayah of the AhlulBayt (عليهم السلام), and the staying away (Bara'at) from Our enemies, and submission to Our command, and piety, and Humility, and awaiting Our Qaim (عج), So indeed there is a government for Us when Allah Desires He will bring it forth."
