Hadith 1: AhlulBayt (as) taught the Angels
Narrated as part of lengthy narration from Imam Ali Ridha (عليه السلام), that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله) said,
"Through us, the angels were guided to the knowledge/recognition of the oneness (Tawheed) of Allah, and His glorification (Tasbeeh), His Tahleel (saying La ilaha illa-llah), and His Praise (Tahmeed)."

Hadith 2: How angels get close to Allah
Abu Abd-Allah Imam Sadiq (عليه السلام) was asked, "Are the angels more numerous or the children of Adam?"
The Imam said, "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, the number of Allah's angels in the heavens is greater than the number of dust particles on the earth. And there is no place in the heaven for a foot except that there is an angel therein glorifying and sanctifying Him, and there is no tree or land on earth except that there is an angel entrusted with it ...
And there is no angel except that they seek nearness to Allah every day through Our - the AhlulBayts - Mastership (Wilayah) and they seek forgiveness for our lovers and curse our enemies, and ask Allah to send down punishment upon our enemies in abundance."

Hadith 3: The most honorable
Narrated that Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه وآله) said,
"The most honorable (high ranking) of the angels in the sight of Allah is the one who loves Ali ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام) the most."

Hadith 4:
Narrated that Abu al-Hasan Imam Kazim (عليه السلام) said,
"There is none from the Angels whom Allah (عز وجل) sends down with a matter/task, except that the angels begin with the Imam (عليه السلام). So the angel presents that matter to the Imam (عليه السلام). And the angels are always coming and going from Allah (تبارك وتعالى) to the Master of this matter (Sahib al-Amr)."

Hadith 5:
ٕNarrated from Misma' Kirdin al-Basri, who said:
"I used to eat no more than one meal during the day and night. Sometimes, I would seek permission to enter upon Abu Abd-Allah Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (عليه السلام) while I would find the dining mat/table had already been picked up, maybe I wouldn't see it set before him. But when I entered, the Imam would call for it (the food/table), and I would eat food with Him, and I would not suffer any harm (discomfort/indigestion) from that.
However, when I followed up with food (ate again) at someone else's place, I could not settle down/rest, and I could not sleep because of bloating/gases. So I complained about this to him (Imam al-Sadiq) and informed him that when I ate at his place, I was not harmed by it.
He (the Imam) said: "O Abu Sayyar (Misma's kunya), indeed, you are eating the food of righteous people (Saleh), whom the angels shake hands with on their beds/furnishings."
I (Misma') said: "And do they (the angels) appear to you?"
He (the Imam) said: Then he wiped his hand over one of his young children and said: "They (the angels) are kinder to our children than we are to them."
