Hadith 1:

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ اَلْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ اَلْقَدَّاحِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ: طَلَبَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّهُ فِي حَائِطِ كَذَا وَ كَذَا فَمَضَى يَطْلُبُهُ فَدَخَلَ إِلَى اَلْحَائِطِ وَ اَلنَّبِيُّ نَائِمٌ فَأَخَذَ عَسِيباً يَابِساً وَ كَسَرَهُ لِيَسْتَبْرِئَ بِهِ نَوْمَ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ قَالَ فَفَتَحَ اَلنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ عَيْنَهُ وَ قَالَ أَ تَخْدَعُنِي عَنْ نَفْسِي يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ أَ مَا عَلِمْتَ أَنِّي أَرَاكُمْ فِي مَنَامِي كَمَا أَرَاكُمْ فِي يَقَظَتِي

Narrated that Abu Abd-Allah Imam Sadiq (عليه السلام) said,

"Abu Dharr when to see the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله), and it was said to him, "He is in such-and-such walled garden."

So he went looking for him and entered the garden while the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) was asleep.

He took a dry palm branch and broke it to test whether the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله) was truly asleep.

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله) opened his eyes and said:

"Are you trying to deceive me about myself, O Abu Dharr? Did you not know that I see you in my sleep just as I see you while I am awake?"

Hadith 2:

حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ اَلْخَطَّابِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ اَلْحَذَّاءِ وَ عَبْدُ اَللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ جَمِيعاً عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ اَلْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي اَلْجَارُودِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ : اَلْإِمَامُ مِنَّا يَنْظُرُ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ كَمَا يَنْظُرُ مِنْ قُدَّامِهِ

Narrated that Abu Ja'far Imam al-Baqir (عليه السلام) said:

"The Imam from among us sees from behind him just as he sees from in front of him."
