Imam (عليه السلام) said, "Wash it (hand)."

Hadith 3:

Narrated by Durays, who said,

"People disputed in the presence of of Abu Jafar Imam Baqir (عليه السلام).

So some of them said, 'The wars fought by Imam Ali (عليه السلام) were with more evil people than the wars of the Prophet of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله)."

And some others said, "The wars fought by the Prophet of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله) were with more evil people than the war fought by Imam Ali (عليه السلام)."

So Abu Jafar Imam Baqir (عليه السلام) heard them and said, "What are you saying?"

They replied, "May Allah keep you well, we are debating about the wars of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله) and the wars of Imam Ali (عليه السلام)." Some of us are saying that the wars fought by Imam Ali (عليه السلام) were with more evil people than the wars of the Prophet of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله). And others are saying that the wars fought by the Prophet of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله) were with more evil people than the war fought by Imam Ali (عليه السلام)."

Then Abu Jafar Imam Baqir (عليه السلام) said, "No, the wars fought by Imam Ali (عليه السلام) were with more evil people than the wars of the Prophet of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله)."

So I asked him, "May I be your ransom, is the war of Ali (عليه السلام) with more evil people than the war of the Prophet of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله)?"

Imam (عليه السلام) replied, "Yes, and I will tell you about it. The wars of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله) was fought against those who did not accept Islam, but the wars of Ali (عليه السلام) was fought against those who had accepted Islam and then they rejected it."
