Chapter: 16, Verse: 16 - The marks/signs of Guidance
Narrated from al-Washsha that, I asked Imam al-Rida (عليه السلام) about the meaning of the words of Allah (تعالى), "Through the signs/marks and with the star people do find the right way (guidance)." (16:16)
The Imams (عليه السلام) said, "We are the signs/marks and the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله) is the star,"

Chapter: 16, Verse: 83 - Rejecting the blessing/bounty of Allah
Narrated from Imam Jafar bin Muhammad al-Sadiq (عليه السلام), from His father, from His Grandfather (عليهم السلام) about the saying of Allah (عز وجل), "They recognize the blessing (Nemat) of Allah, yet they deny it, and most of them are disbelievers (kafir)." (16:83)
Imam (عليه السلام) said, "When the verse, "Only Allah is your gaurdian (wali) and His Messenger and those who believe, those who establish prayers and pay the Zakat while they bow" (5:55) was revealed, a group of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله) gathered in the Masjid of Madina, and they said to each other, "What do you say about this verse?"
They said, "If we reject this verse we would have rejected the rest of them. However, if we would accept it, it will be humiliating for us when Ali ibn Abu Talib (عليه السلام) would rule over us."
So They said, "We know that Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله) is truthful in what He says, but surely we will follow Him but we will not obey His command to obey Ali (عليه السلام)." Then this verse was revealed. "They recognize the blessing (Nemat) of Allah, yet they deny it .." (16:83) meaning the Mastership (Wilayah) of Ali ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام) and most of them are disbelievers (kafir) regarding the Wilayat."

Chapter: 16, Verse: 89 - Imam Ali (ع) and Ulil Azm Prophets (ع)
"And on the day when We will raise up in every people a witness against them from among themselves, and bring you as a witness against these - and We have revealed the Book to you explaining clearly everything , a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings to Muslims." [16:89]
It has been narrated to us Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Muhammad Bin Amro Al-Ziyaat, from Abdullah Bin Al-Waleed who said:
Abu Abdullah (ع) said to me: "What are the statements that (some of) ours followers say regarding Isa (ع), and Musa (ع) and Amir-ul-Momineen (ع)?"
I said, "They are sayin that Isa (ع) and Musa (ع) are of higher (status) than Amir-ul-Momineen (ع)".
He (as) said, "Do they not think that Amir-ul-Momineen (ع) knew what was known to the Messenger of Allah (ص)?"
I said, "Yes, and I told them that Ali (ع) knew whatever the Prophet knew but they say that He (ع) was not higher than any of the Ul Ul Azm Prophets (ع)."
Abu Abdullah (as) said, "Debate with them by the Book of Allah."
I said, "And in which subject from it should I debate with them?"
He (as) said, "Allah (تعالى) said to Musa (ع),
"And We Wrote for him in the Tablets everything from the knowledge" (7:145). Allah (swt) did not Write for Musa (ع) all things.
And Allah (swt) Blessed and High Said for Isa (ع), "And that I may make clear to you part of what you differ in" (43:63).
And Said for Muhammad (ص), "And on the day when We will raise up in every people a witness against them from among themselves, and bring you as a witness against these - and We have revealed the Book to you explaining clearly everything" (16:89).

It has been narrated to us Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Sa’d, from Umraan Bin Suleyman Al-Neyshapury, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad Al-Yamani, from Manba’a Bin Al-Hajaaj, from Yunus, from Al-Husayn Bin Alwaan who has said the following:
Abu Abdullah (ع) said, "Allah Created the Ul Ul Azm Prophets (ع) from the Messengers (ع) (and distinguished them) by the knowledge, and We (ع) inherited their knowledge, and Allah Preferred Us (ع) over them in their knowledge, and the knowledge of the Messenger of Allah (saww) is what they did not know, and Allah Taught Us the knowledge of the Messenger and their knowledge. Our followers (Shia) are higher in status than their followers (Shia), where ever we are, Our Shiites are with Us (as)."
