Change (Badaa) in Coming of Imam Mahdi (as)
Hadith 1:
Narrated that Abu Hashim Dawood bin al-Qasim al-Jafari said:
"We were with Abu Jafar Muhammad bin Ali al-Ridha (ع) and there was mention of al-Sufyani and of those narrations which say that the coming of Sufyani is from the inevitable (i.e. must happen - al-Mahtoom)."
I (the narrator) said to Abu Jafar al-Jawad (ع), "Does Allah bring about change (badaa) in the inevitable matters?"
Imam (ع) said, "Yes."
We said to the Imam, "We fear that He may bring about change concerning the matter of al-Qaim (ع)."
Imam (ع) said, "The matter of al-Qaim (ع) is a promise (of Allah) and Allah does not fail to keep His promise."

Hadith 2:
Narrated that Abu Hamza al-Thumali said,
"I was with Imam Abu Jafar Muhammad bin Ali al-Baqir (عليه السلام). When everyone left, the Imam said to me: “O Abu Hamza, what is inevitable and that Allah will not change is the rising of Our Qaim (عليه السلام). Whoever doubts what I said, will meet Allah has a disbeliever (kafir) & denier of Allah."
Then the Imam said, "My Father and Mother be sacrificed upon Him whose name will be like My name and His Kunniyat will be like My Kunniyat, the seventh after me. My Father be sacrificed upon Him who will fill the world with justice and equity after it has been filled with injustice and oppression."
Then the Imam said, "O Abu Hamza, he, who reaches Him and does not submit to him, has not submitted to Muhammad and Ali (عليهم السلام) and Allah has made Paradise forbidden for him, his abode will be the fire, and evil is the abode of the unjust!"
