Narrated that Prophet Muhammad (ص) said:

When my Lord took me up to the seventh heaven, and from it to the Lote Tree of the Furthest Boundary (Sidratul Muntaha), and from the Sidratul Muntaha to the veils of light, my Lord called to me:

“O Muhammad (ص)! You are My Servant, and I am your Lord. Submit to Me, worship Me, rely on Me, and trust Me, for I am pleased with you as a servant, a beloved, a messenger, and a prophet, and with your brother Ali (ع) as a vicegerent (khalifa) and a gate (bab). He is My Proof over My servants and the Imam of My creation. Through Him, My friends will be distinguishable from My enemies, and My Party will be distinguishable from the Party of Satan. Through him, My religion is established, My limits are preserved, and My judgments are carried out. Through You, through Him (i.e. Imam Ali ع), and through the Imams from His descendants, I grant mercy to My male and female servants.

"And through the Qaim (ع) from You, I will fill My earth with My glorification (Tasbeeh), Saying of la ilaaha illa llah (Taheel), My sanctification (Taqdees), My exaltation (Taqbeer), and My raise (Tamjeed). Through Him, I will purify the Earth from My enemies, and I will make My friends inherit it. Through him, I will make the words of those who disbelieve in Me the lowest, and I will make My words the highest."

"And Through Him, I will bring to life My servants and bring to life My countries with My knowledge. By My will, I will reveal the treasures and the resources for Him. By My wish, I will reveal the secrets and the inner thoughts to Him. I will support Him with My angels to aid Him in carrying out My order and announcing My religion. Truly, He is My friend & truly He is the guide (Mahdi) of My servants."

حدثنا محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا محمد ابن أبي عبد الله الكوفي، عن موسى بن عمران النخعي، عن عمه الحسين بن يزيد النوفلي، عن علي بن سالم، عن أبيه، عن أبي حمزة الثمالي، عن سعد الخفاف، عن الاصبغ بن نباتة، عن عبد الله بن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): لما عرج بي إلى السماء السابعة ومنها إلى سدرة المنتهى، ومن السدرة إلى حجب النور، ناداني ربي جل جلاله: يا محمد، أنت عبدي وأنا ربك، فلي فاخضع، وإياي فاعبد، وعلي فتوكل، وبي فثق، فإني قد رضيت بك عبدا وحبيبا ورسولا ونبيا، وبأخيك علي خليفة وبابا، فهو حجتي على عبادي، وإمام لخلقي، به يعرف أوليائي من أعدائي، وبه يميز حزب الشيطان من حزبي، وبه يقام ديني، وتحفظ حدودي، وتنفذ أحكامي، وبك وبه وبالائمة من ولده أرحم عبادي وإمائي، وبالقائم منكم اعمر أرضي بتسبيحي وتهليلي وتقديسي وتكبيري وتمجيدي، وبه اطهر الارض من أعدائي وأورثها أوليائي، وبه أجعل كلمة الذين كفروا بي السفلى وكلمتي العليا، وبه احيي عبادي وبلادي بعلمي، وله اظهر الكنوز والذخائر بمشيئتي، وإياه أظهر على الاسرار والضمائر بإرادتي، وأمده بملائكتي لتؤيده على إنفاذ أمري وإعلان ديني، ذلك ولي حقا، ومهدي عبادي صدقا
