Selected Ahadith

Hadith 1:

Abu Abdillah Imam Sadiq (as) said:

"This group (the shias) will be most closer to Allah (swt) and Allah (swt) will be most pleased with them when they miss the divine proof of Allah (swt) (i.e. Imam Mahdi عج) and the Imam will not be visible for them and they will not know his place. And despite this, they will know that divine proof of Allah (swt) and His promise/covenant cannot be invalidated. Its then that you have to wait for the deliverance (Farj) in the morning and evening."

"And indeed Allah's anger for His enemies is most intense when the divine proof of Allah (swt) will be out of public sight and will not appear to them. And Allah (swt) knows that His friends will not be in doubt (about the Imam), had it been in  that they would doubt, he would not hide His divine proof from them for even blinking of an eye."

Hadith 2:

Narrated by al-Husain bin Abi Hamzah from his father,

I said to Imam Sadiq (as), "May I be sacrificed for You, I have become old and my bones have become fragile and my death is close and I am afraid that death will reach me before (I witness) this matter (Coming of Imam Mahdi ع)."

Imam Sadiq (as) said, "O Abu Hamzah, do you think that only those killed are Shaheed?"

I (Abu Hamzah) said, "Yes, May I be sacrificed for You."

Imam (as) said, "O Abu Hamzah, whoever believes in Us, accepts Our sayings and waits for Our Authority (Amr), is like the one killed under the flag/banner of al-Qaim (atfs), rather, by Allah (swt), under the banner of the Prophet (saww)."

Hadith 3:

Narrated that Imam Ridha (عليه السلام) said to Yunus bin Abd Al-Rahman as part of a narration:

"If you are upon rightness and your Imam is pleased with you then what the people say would not harm you"
